VOIDwithpu erh spice, pomegranate, masala chai with accents of ginger

Finally finished my Void tea label! I figured it would be cool to have two villains posted by Halloween. This one is really…weird but good?  It tastes like buzzing and it leaves a hot sensation in my throat, my sinuses are kinda going nuts! If you are sensitive to ginger or spices please be careful with this one!

I temporarily ‘shipped’ it with my Jennifer Blake tea, Dark Oak, so if you wanted to get both you can get 10% off both blends!

Noble Heartwithdecaf vanilla, honeybush hazelnut&spearmintaccented with aniseed

I have been struggling with Boyd’s tea label for AGES, I’ve drawn Sinqua like 4 times now, he’s got a face like Chris Pine for me I guess. Really hard to draw!  I’d actually come up with the ice theme before we knew his background, simply because he worked at an ice rink!  NOW THIS IDEA IS EVEN MORE SAD. SORRY GUYS. (I had way too much fun drawing the ice and the faux fur, gosh!)

Anyways!  This tea is really good and vanilla-hazelnutty! Very smooth and with a bit of a crisp mint follow up.  I don’t have many decaf blends so I wanted to be sure this one was. :D

He’s also paired with Erica’s Wild Child blend so you can get a dollar off of each when you buy them together!

MOONDAY HEARTACHE- with chamomile, foxtrot, berry blues with lemon balm & lavender accents.

I figured tonight was a good night to release this tea!  I made this SPECIFICALLY to help relieve stress and help sooth our broken hearts! It’s got all the things that help with stress like chamomile, lavender, peppermint and lemon balm along with some other great things.

Make sure you SHAKE UP THE BAG if you get it because the chamomile is HUGE and will stay at the top of the bag while all the rest of the ingredients will sink to the bottom.  I actually store mine in a tupperware container. :)

You can let this sit for and brew for 5-8 minutes in 212 degree water, easy peasy!

OKAY GUYS lets batten down the hatches, I am so not ready for tonights episode! 8C

OH MAN so this is my least favorite label, I swear I will draw Allison all badass next time.  BUT this tea….this TEA. It’s got jasmine in it which is one of my favorite things ever and it tastes so fabulous.  Also I paired her with Scott so now you can get 20% off if you buy this one AND Sugar Puppy

Next up will possibly be Jim Kirk, Boyd….or….Maybe something else? Depends on how soon I get the rest of my work done. :)

THANKS GUYS! <3

So this tea turned out pretty damn delicious and crazy.  If you like peppermint or mate I definitely recommend giving it a try!  I took ages finishing the art, I scrapped the original label and redrew it.  Creeeepy teeth! 8D

Anyways, I am still working on labels for a TON of my teas!  Hang tight for more character teas in the future! :)

I’ve had this done for months now and am finally getting around to making it live. This is REALLY delicious, it was one of those I didn’t expect anything big from but it’s amazing.  Lettie and I have both polished off a bag each now, lol.  I do plan on doing a Wincest tea, too, but I wanted to start with this. :)

This is also shipped with my Tea(se) “Sterek” tea so you can get both of them for $8 each rather than $10 if you like. ;)

Bones is my favorite character from Star Trek so I had to do a tea for him!  It’s kinda bitter and super peachy and cinnamony, I found it really fun to drink. :)  I also haven’t tried it with bourbon yet, lol.  Maybe sometime!

queenofmarshmallows:Snark Nerdy to Me / Wild Child(Stiles/Erica) Artichoke Green, Rhubarb Green, H

queenofmarshmallows:

Snark Nerdy to Me/Wild Child
(Stiles/Erica)
Artichoke Green, Rhubarb Green, Hibiscus /
Mango Green, Pomegranate Green, Apricot
ByDaunt

This mixture is a gorgeous light reddish chestnut color. The flavors mix well together for the most part - Stiles is more full-bodied while Erica is fruity and light (with just a touch of an edge). The two of them together smell so amazing! That is actually what inspired trying this mixture in the first place!

For a better description of each tea, see my reviews for Snark Nerdy to MeandWild Child!

Recommended brew:

- Let boiling water sit for at least 5 minutes - these leaves are easy to burn
- Brew tea for 2-4 minutes, or to taste (Stiles can go a little woody if you let him steep too long, so be careful) *snicker* But seriously, be careful.

Brewed:

  • Good! Doesn’t really need sweetener
  • Barely a touch of sugar brings out Erica
  • Can still taste Stiles in the background, but hot is Erica’s show
  • Rather mild flavor

Iced:

  • Needs sugar - I used about 1tsp white sugar per cup
  • Very good when verycold
  • Good mix of both flavors, though Stiles is slightly stronger
  • Flavor stronger cold than when hot

Latte:

  • Be careful not to use too much milk, very easy to overpower the flavor of the tea
  • Very sweet, doesn’t need much sweetener - recommended 1/2tsp white sugar/cup
  • Mild flavor of tea doesn’t play too well with a hot latte, but…

Iced latte:

  • YES
  • Can definitely taste Stiles, though Erica gives a slight fruitiness
  • Definitely a different flavor than just Stiles iced latte, but the difference is subtle (albeit very tasty)

WHOA!  A mix! How cool is this! I am going to have to try this. :D

The smell out of the bag is a bit overpowering, very spicy - but it mellows out as it steeps. When brewed, this tea is the most gorgeous redish chestnut color. I tried so hard to get a picture that did it justice but I couldn’t make it work (sorry Tim Gunn). But holy god is it gorgeous.

Recommended brew:

- Rooibos, from my understanding, can handle lava hot water temperatures (ok maybe not that hot, but you don’t need to let your water rest for long on this one)
- Steep for about 5 minutes - there is some black tea in this so if you steep too long it can start to go bitter.

Brewed:

  • Smell is much less intense than from out of the bag
  • Can definitely taste the cinnamon
  • I would actually suggest against adding too much sugar as you can easily overpower the spiciness, but obviously that’s your choice!

Iced:

  • Really delicious
  • Definitely still spicy, which is nice in an iced tea
  • I would recommend adding sugar to it iced as it rounds out the flavor and lessens the spiciness but for some reason didn’t overpower it like it does when served hot…?

Latte:

  • The smell is amazing - it’s creamy and spicy and sweet and unf
  • Don’t add too much sugar! Just a little is awesome
  • The apple flavor really came out in the latte and it really grew on me

Iced latte:

  • Definitely worth trying, all the good from the hot latte but iced
  • No major flavor differences - perhaps the apple was a bit less prominent but it was still really tasty

He’s good no matter how you take him. Might not seem like your cuppa at first, but he definitely grows on you.

This blend has the most fascinating smell and flavor, and I’m not just saying that. I can’t get enough of it! When brewed the tea has a golden amber color and the scent is… gosh, it just smells full. And delicious. The flavor overall is very creamy and refreshing.

Recommended brew:

- Let boiling water sit for at least 5 minutes - these leaves are easy to burn
- Brew tea for 2-4 minutes, or to taste (Stiles can go a little woody if you let him steep too long, so be careful) *snicker* But seriously, there is a fine line between a good strong green and a disgusting cuppa with this blend.

Brewed:

  • Can still taste the roundness of flavor characteristic of this blend
  • Personally, I don’t quite like this brew hot - it maintains a refreshing edge and my brain couldn’t quite balance the hot/refreshing dichotomy.

Iced:

  • Creamy, round flavor
  • Obviously a green tea but definitely not grassy (unless you over-steep)
  • Really cool and refreshing finish
  • I added ½ tsp of regular sugar /cup and it adds a really nice sweetness (it could handle more sweetness if you’re so inclined!!)
  • Very yummy!! ♥

Latte:

  • Naturally creamy flavor lends itself to a fantastic latte
  • Milk adds a sufficient sweetness, but it would still taste good with added sugar (it’s easy to make the hot latte too sweet, though, so don’t be overzealous with the sugar spoon until you’ve tasted it)
  • Really curious how this would taste with a melon-flavored syrup *w*

Iced latte:

  • YES
  • YES
  • By the way, YES
  • This can handle more sugar than the hot latte, so it’s a good fix for if you over-sweeten your hot latte
  • Oh, and FREAKING YES ♥

Stiles is best enjoyed cold, like the Abominable Snowman that he is.

This tea smells so fruity and delicious out of the bag - not an overly sweet fruity, but sweet with a bit of a kick. ♥ I would wear the scent as a perfume if I could. When brewed this tea is a light amber color and it doesn’t smell quite as sweet.

Recommended brew:

- Let boiling water sit for at least 5 minutes - these leaves are easy to burn
- Steep for about 3 minutes. Overbrewing leads to a bit of a sourness. Unfortunately when brewing this cup for my review I let it steep too much because I had to let out the dog. D:

Brewed:

  • The flavor is already a bit sweet, so it doesn’t need much sugar - I put in just a touch and it was lovely!
  • Flavor is really mild when brewed hot. It’s pleasant but not my favorite way to drink this tea

Iced:

  • Slightly sweet, slightly bitter (though that’s probably because I brewed it a bit too long)
  • Small amount of sugar goes really nicely, though it can handle a decent amount if you are in love with sugar (and who isn’t, really?)
  • Outrageously refreshing. This will be my go-to iced tea in the spring.

Latte:

  • Don’t.
  • The flavor is too flowery and the milk doesn’t play well
  • Oh my god sugar does not help

Iced latte:

  • NO
  • JuST
  • DOn’t
  • oMG

Don’t let this girl anywhere near milk or cream. I mean, go ahead and try, but I certainly wouldn’t suggest it.

Quite some time ago MGM fairly asked for the Quartermaster tea blend be removed from Adagio, and since then I’ve had overwhelming requests to bring it back. Life got in the way until now, but ta-da! The same blend of teas is back, dedicated to a standard pair of glasses, and absolutely no trademarked characters!

Trendy Hipster Glasses and Nothing Else[earl grey bravo, ceylon sonata, cream, accented with lemon balm and lemon verbena]  ‘I’ll hazard I can do more damage on my laptop sitting in my pajamas before my first cup of earl grey than you can do in a year in the field.’ Bright, a bit tart, and a little cheeky. Ah, peppermint. My first tea love. Adagio’s peppermint captures all the refreshing minty goodness for a truly thirst-quenching cup.

The first sip is smooth and fresh, with a strong minty aftertaste that delightfully tingles your whole mouth and lips. The mint flavor has a plush taste, a roundness more reminiscent of a refreshing dessert mint (as opposed to the harshness of squirting toothpaste directly onto your tongue).

Even as it tingles and freshens, the taste is still warm and balanced. Sometimes mint teas can tip over into a bitter, sharp taste, but this peppermint absolutely hits the mark. The mint has the bright, zingy freshness that characterizes everything there is to love about peppermint, but the overall taste is still round and smooth. With a plush taste followed by smooth mint tingles, this is a sweet, refreshing cup and a fine example of peppermint tea.

Pomegranate from Adagio Teas

It seems fitting to mark the theoretical end of winter with a warm cup of pomegranate tea. This black tea is flavored with both pomegranate and raspberry, with raspberry leaves sprinkled throughout, for a hybrid pom-ras party. Bright, fruity, and sweet, this is a pleasant cup with juicy flavor.

The #1 word I would use to describe this tea is actually cheeky. The fruity flavors are sweet with tart notes that add a playfulness to the overall taste. The lingering notes are reminiscent of a sour-candy buzz, while the first sip is smooth and sweet.

This tea is a lot less messy to prepare than an actual pomegranate—though unfortunately you also don’t get the fun satisfaction of pulling out all those little seeds. Still, this is a bright sweet-tart tea bursting with juicy flavor that will invigorate you with fruity flavor. If you’re feeling the winter doldrums, a cup of pomegranate tea is a good reminder than warmer weather is on the way (unless of course you’re Persephone, in which case, it might bring six more weeks of winter for you).
