i hope so much that dracula just becomes a weird relative figure on the sidelines in the later castlevania series. like he got his happy ending with his wife. he doesn’t seem bent on killing the world anymore. but he’s also DRACULA. but he’s also still like… alucard’s dad lmao. do things go sideways in the new series with a new evil that alucard has to face with richter and maria and dracula is just like “maybe i can help, son. i’ve got some useful spellbooks that might-” to which richter is like oh so now the guy who wanted to turn wallachia into a skidmark is gonna preach to us
lmfao remember in seasons 1 and 2 when they talked about a whole entire prophecy about trevor, sypha, and alucard that apparently mentioned what happens to them even after they kill dracula. whatever happened to that. alucard is even like “you know how the whole prophecy goes, right??” to sypha like it was going to be important
