dean killing sam, due to some uncontrollable urge, some mark of cain effect. he cut out sam’s heart, and maybe he did it out of rage but maybe he did it to keep sam safe. to keep sam safe from him, to keep sam safe from everyone, an actual nightmare of dean losing control and killing his brother because he had to keep him safe and when he killed him he held him, he cradled him in his arms and kissed his forehead, and he cried but then he became stone and he was gone like a switch had flipped in his brain and hE HAD NOTHING ANYMORE.
