I played through FFXIV’s main story. Twice. Up to and including the most recent patch leading up to Endwalker.

I am not okay. The story emotionally destroyed me. I have too many feels.

I cannot wait to experience what happens next and if anything bad happens to my beloved Scions I will go on a rampage.

Me? Creating all my ESO Favs in Skyrim so I can then use Familiar Faces to have them as followers because ZOS still hasn’t given us the Naryu/Raz/Fenn/Darien followers we need and deserve in ESO?

It’s more likely than you think.

ZOS, I appreciate that we can pick our starting zone but also … can you please add in the previous tutorials back in? You did it with the Base Game main quest tutorial, you can do it with the others. I want to be able to play these quests again.

I think it’s time for a new PC. Baldur’s Gate 3 lags like crazy and I thought, maybe that’s because it’s not fully optimised yet, but I’m getting the same FPS drops trying to play Cyberpunk 2077, new games just aren’t playable on my PC anymore. And I did put the graphics to the lowest setting … I have no hopes that my PC will be able to handle Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 when it comes out either. It’s just detrimental at this point and add to that that my C drive is constantly bursting at the seams bc it’s too small and my PC complaining about overcurrents on the USB drive … It’s becoming a necessity. I think my PC is starting to chuck along on it’s last leg.

Good luck getting a new PC in times of Covid-19 tho … 

You are allowed to love and enjoy evil characters. It doesn’t say anything about you as a person. It doesn’t reflect badly on your morals. Liking an evil character doesn’t mean you’re an awful person irl!

There is nothing problematic or controversial about loving evil characters. They’re fictional. It doesn’t hurt anyone. 

Because apparently Baldur’s Gate 3 completely owns me right now …

What are your headcanons for character alignments and ages? 

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how great the character animations in Baldur’s Gate 3? They are so detailed and well done and at the very least unique for the major characters. You don’t even see that level of detail in role-playing games. Yeah, the dialogues have these annoying freezes here and there but that’s early access to you. Point being, I love the dialogues, you could turn off the audience and still get a feeling for who these characters are. This game is already great and it’s still in a very early access stage.

I fully expected ZOS to pull another Tharn or Darien on us when Verandis insisted on staying behind. Especially after Arana had died in the Markarth story line and we saw how the Dark Heart was starting to affect Verandis. 

And then ZOS just went and … gave us not only Arana back … but also Verandis … and all the people who’d died to the Dark Heart? And it felt so good? So hopeful? I will forever be emotional over this ending, thank you for coming to my ted talk. 

ZOS really just went and did that …

WE’RE SO USED TO GIVING AND FINALLY WE GET TO RECEIVE!

Motherfucking minotaurs. The second I jump down the hole into the underdark they’re on me, one of them immediately downs Shadowheart, I manage to have Gale put one of them to sleep but then the other kills Caelyn and then the first one wakes up and kills Gale …

The Spiderqueen I had to kill to get here was easier than these two. 

I kinda hope Bladesinger will be implemented in Baldur’s Gate 3. I mean, if not, I can at least at full release multiclass as wizard/fighter but it’s not really what I want to do … There are just some subclasses I’m hoping for. 

I love this game, I want more of it. I know we won’t get the rest of the story until the full release so maybe … more classes and subclasses and stuff would be nice? Also I want to play as the companions in Early Access at some point. That’d be really neat. Some of that content is already implemented, it would be amazing if we got to see it before full release at some point …

Writing BG3 fanfic would be a lot easier if I could settle on a PC to write with … So far I have 4 whole dumbasses and I can’t decide which one I should make “official”. 

Am I maybe a little obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3 right now? Yes.
Am I planning to stop it anytime soon? No, definitely not. 

Hey, Larian, not to rush you or anything but … people are being thirsty for the Under Construction Scene … 

So players and that one weird internet article be like

“In Baldur’s Gate 3, the party doesn’t immediately like me and trust me, thus, THE GAME IS BAD. How dare they not immediately spill their secrets for me and trust me after we just met? Such bad writing.”

That goes hand in hand with straight manbabies complaining that there are “no hot female companions” in this game, when Shadowheart is right there … But I guess to count as “hot female companions” for these people you have to wear a bikini to battle and sport a double D cup at the least. 

Are there any prerequisities that have to be met to trigger Astarion’s bite scene and the complete scenes before and after the first tadpole dream because I somehow seem to be very hit and miss there, and the scenes before and after the tadpole dream are incomplete! It’s just a short scene where he talks about how he has to contact Raphael and then the one the morning after where he mentions he had a dream lately. 

And I KNOW there is more to these scenes bc I have seen these scenes happening, and did trigger his bite scene before, so idk what I’m doing wrong or if my game is just particularly buggy. It’s so frustrating.
