And the phase is back.
Silaestra is my newest Baldur’s Gate 3 character.
She’s a noble High Elf Bladesinger Wizard (Evocation in Early Access), 160 years as of the events of the game, pragmatic, very intelligent but tends to be easily distracted and not always makes the wisest decisions. She’s a bit of a disaster bisexual to be honest.

My current Baldur’s Gate 3 character (I just can’t settle on one xD). Her name is Caelyn, she’s a ranger, and she is officially the least intelligent member of this party bc she only has 8 Intelligence, sth I like to make fun of a lot.

I use a mod that allows me to take an ASI at lvl 2 bc I’m used to not using standard array/standard point buy and I can’t roll for stats (I don’t really like standard array and standard point buy, in the games I play, I usually either roll for stats or we use a modified point buy system with 16 as your maximum and 7 as your minimum before racial modifiers), hence why her Wis and Dex is higher than the game allows for a lvl 3 character. I just don’t like being soft-locked into class/race combos, and this allows you to be a bit more free with your class selection.

I feel like the narrator figure is as much of a character as everyone else! Also Amelia Tyler does such an amazing job of it, I just had to try my hand at painting an all knowing, all seeing, omnipresent authority figure. I also love the theory that the DM is the power above Ao’s, so here she is made up of the universe and space time herself.*As the symbol glows, power courses through you. Authority.*

Baldur’s Gate 3 Officially Announced for PC and Google Stadia - IGN
An interview with Larian Studios with tiny bit of detail that I thought was worth noting:
1.) Wizards said they had to use 5th edition dungeons and dragons rules.
2.) This implies therefore that as per 5th edition we are roughly 100 years after the events of ToB. Therefore unlikely to involve the Bhaalspawn.
3.) However worth noting that in the comics, Minsc gets teleported into the future so there’s scope for everyone’s favourite berserker and space hamster to make an appearance.
