What do you mean Melkor is not a benevolent employer? Of course he appreciates all everyone is doing to satisfy his every waking whim. Why, I am sure not one of his mindless slaves workers have never complained about their master’s treatment of them. Not once. And of course Sauron is sending a silent wish to Eru for the strength not to stab his master in the eye because do you know how hard is to design something out of thin air?
