If shibari is anything, it’s multi-layered: an art, a craft, a connection.
Cirque Shibari presents those elements in a beautiful, theatrical way.
I really hope this project takes off, because it looks amazing. Rope performances tend to be small scale, in an intimate setting that leans toward the energy of the rigger and bottom.
Seeing the art trimmed and tweaked to be a stage show really piqued my interest- hopefully yours too
