Practicing the Swiss Seat. This is one of two harnesses I’ve got down pretty well, including knowing just how much rope I need.

I’ve decided now that I’ve got the basics of rope down, my main problem in scenes is not knowing what to do next.  

In service of changing that, I’m going to play with rope for at least a little while every night. Maybe I’ll have a concept in mind (pain, predicament, immobilization), or maybe I’ll just be messing around and seeing what comes out.

Tonight I tried out attaching legs to chest harnesses, and then decided to see what fun I could have tying both legs together. I liked how this came out because if I push my right leg, the rope around my left tightens painfully. I could have I good time with that in a scene.

@anonymous: I do both- tie myself, and tie with my partner. There really isn’t a limit to how complex the knots can be in a self-tie, the only times I have issue is if I’m working behind my back… then I might ask for a little help. :) but if you’re solo, you can always just simplify anything being tied where you can’t see or reach well.

@anonymous3: you’re very welcome! I had the same issue, wanting something much more soft - but it used to be that ‘soft bondage’ meant ‘less/more simple bondage’. It’s been changing recently to mean more of a cute kink and I’m so glad! :D

@anon: To do the Dragonfly Sleeve in the front, tie the knots from step 1-4 down the front like in the Tortoise Shell (step 2-6). But when you loop around to catch either side of the knots, include the arms instead of just going round the torso. Hopefully that makes sense– if you have any trouble let me know and I can do a tutorial! :)
