The Thinker Action Figure

There are all kinds of figures from an infinite range of works, but this is something you probably didn’t quite expect: The Thinker. Most people have encountered this statue in some form either in art class or in a comic/cartoon/movie scene. Now the classic sculpture by Auguste Rodin is joining the lineup of the highly flexible and poseable figma series! Figmas are known for their soft, nimble joints, which in this case means you can pose your Thinker in a vast number of positions (his back was probably getting sore anyway!). The package includes a number of spare parts, such as spare hand and head parts and a special chest part just for his usual pose. It also comes with two stands, his sitting stone and an articulated figma stand specially designed to facilitate posing. Having the Thinker in your room will give it an antique aura and bring with it a wide range of possibilities. It could also prove as good drawing material!

Fugit Amor (Fugitive Love, or Fleeting Love), by Auguste Rodin

“Fugitive love” is a version of the popular theme of the lovers Francesca da Rimini and Paolo Malatesta, carried by a whirlwind in the Second Circle of Hell, where they report their fate to the poet Dante: at the moment of their first kiss, they were murdered for their illicit love affair by Francesca’s husband and eternally damned. While working at his monumental ‘Gates of Hell’, Rodin frequently recurred to this subject and presented the couple in various constellations.
