Mr. Porter asked me to illustrate outfits for different careers or professions as toy box outfits, referencing the old Action Man outfit sets from the 60′s and 70′s. Basically a dream job for me. Action figures, fashion, retro imagery, andall of that in monochromatic colour schemes? Yes. Count me in.

Hey everyone! Here’s an update on the Virizion figure.
After finishing the general modeling, I decided to sand a few uneven places, and mark out a few parts such as the face and legs, as seen in the picture below.
Then, I had to face another issue, the right shade of green. Since I only had gouache paint, and the green paint was a strong green emerald shade, way darker than the one I needed. So I got to work and mixed some ink and got the right color.
Then, it was only a matter of painting everything!
Pink was added today!
It still looks very pale, but I hope when I add a coat of varnish, it’ll look somehow better.
I don’t know which one of these new Breaking Bad ReAction 3 ¾" Retro Action Figures from Funko is more covetable, but right now I’m leaning toward Heisenberg. But heck, at about $10 a pop, you can have ‘em all!
My only complaint is that Duffel Bag Jesse lacks the intense charisma of Aaron Paul’s piercing gaze, but some things just can’t be molded in plastic.

The Helmet is from the Barbie NASCAR series, spray painted with Krylon Fusion Satin Black. Doll is WWE Sasha Banks which comes with that bright pink hair. The Jacket came off a toy soldier action figure we found at the thrift store.

Casual Queen Mera
Queen Mera of Atlantis from the Aquaman series of 11 inch action figures. I bought the doll cheap after Christmas because the packaging was damaged. I like them because they have fully articulated joints and a more realistic and muscular body shape than the fragile and ill-proportioned Barbie dolls.My daughter likes them as well. She fits in some Barbie tops and wider dresses, Ken’s pants, and modified G.I. Joe clothes.

Hasbro G.I. Joe (aka G.I. Jane) Wearing Barbie Divergent
We love G.I. Joe figures from the 90s for being fully articulated and sturdy dolls/action figures. Because of their more realistic body proportions, they can’t wear Barbie clothes, and Hasbro sets are limited to military outfits. But they fit into Ken’s clothes! This outfit belongs to the Barbie Collector Divergent Four Doll, which where on sale for a while on Amazon. These make a great motorcycle outfit!

The Tough Ladies of G.I. Joe
In the mid 90s Hasbroreleased a series of female 11 inch action figures with female soldiers. Unlike their skinny Barbie sisters, they have a more realistic body shape and are more durable for playing. With a few modifications they are able to wear clothes and shoes from other fashion dolls. The hands are bigger to handle the gear that comes with the male G.I. Joes (and other action figures).
