In February 2017, 10 week old Mowgli was left orphaned after his mother was electrocuted by high tension wires set up by poachers in the state of #MadhyaPradesh, India. Once rescued and rehabilitated at the #WildlifeSOS #AgraBearRescueCenter, our dedicated team of keepers & vets made sure to provide the much needed TLC and help him recover from his traumatic past!
Today, Mowgli is a far cry from the scrawny little helpless cub he was when he first stepped at our rescue center! Catch his shenanigans as we celebrate his first Rescue Anniversary!

After eleven years in our care, we lost our beloved#SlothBear, Nishant and while we are deeply saddened by his demise, we applaud his strength and perseverance and take solace in knowing that he was able to live a good and happy life at the #AgraBearRescueFacility, a place where he was loved and cherished by both his bear and human companions.
