My yearly art summary for 2019!

Thank you all for supporting me and joining me on my art journey! I managed to accomplish quite a lot this year, and I’m looking forward to creating and improving even more in 2020!

The full piece I did for @fireemblemfoodzine! I got to draw Ike and some friends to accompany a spicy stew recipe. I’m not sure how talented these four are in the kitchen, but I’m sure they’re trying their best

I’m almost done with these, I just have a few of the golden deers to finish, so I plan to have everyone up on my shop around Dec 14th or 15th. I hope you’ll look forward to them!

My full piece for @fefloriography zine, featuring Niles and Nina with anemones and dandelions! Thank you so much for having me! I really enjoyed getting to draw my fates family again!

Also my thought process behind the flower symbolism:
Anemones represent death and forsaken love, which fits Niles’ past and the fact that he was once left for dead. But it also represents hope for the future.
Dandelions represent perseverance through life’s difficulties, which fits Nina’s struggles with the deeprealms and her insistence on being herself.

Both of them have struggled a lot, but despite this (or maybe because of it) they’re able to find hope in each other and in the many people around them.

A drawing for @sleephardt on twitter, who won the raffle I held there. They requested Ranulf in a groom outfit and I was more than happy to oblige!

Another update on my charms! I wanted to share some of the finished designs that I’ve been working on.

I’m hoping to have perorders for these (and the rest of the kids) open around the beginning of next month, so I hope you’ll look forward to them!

The full card I drew of Futaba for @p5jeudecartes! Her palace is one of my favorites in the game, so I really wanted to pay tribute to that.

Some previews of the piece(s) I did for @growthdrzine, a post-game Danganronpa zine! I really wanted to capture the idea of growth as a gradual process so I drew multiple scenes.

I don’t normally post wips here, but I wanted to share some charm sketches that I’ve been working on! I really love the bits of personalization in FE3H’s dorms, so I wanted to do something with that concept.

This is incredibly self indulgent, but I wanted to try drawing my personal take on Byleth! I had a lot of fun playing around with the Sniper design. (Also Sylvain is here because I love him)

A piece I did a while back for a Danganronpa zine centered around the theme of post-game growth. I’ve always liked the idea of an AU in which more of the kids survive till the end and ch 5 has a much happier ending for everyone.

A piece I did for an FE3H themed playing card project on Twitter, featuring baby Dimitri and friends. Despite everything that Dimitri’s been through, I like to think that he has lots of happy childhood memories as well

I’ve been trying to play around with a different style lately, and I think I’m pretty happy with how it’s going so far

My favorite purple kids!

I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed Yuri and Bernadetta’s supports. I seem to have a soft spot for the “long-lost childhood friends” trope, plus their dynamic is just super adorable.

Time to Rest

It’s not the first of the year (or even January) anymore, but I wanted to finish this little piece regardless. I’ve gotten really attached to Piers and Marnie and their relationship. The two of them are so sweet.
