So tumblr purged my main account and all associated sideblogs, leaving me with only this account, which is separate. I still don’t really know how I’ll be using this account, but if anyone needs to get ahold of me on tumblr, I will be here! At least while I wait out the purge and see what tumblr’s verdict is for my blog. I may try to dig up some reblogs of my art posts and reblog them here, just to have them. 

I’m obviously devastated about this. I have such valuable friends and followers that I am so so sad to lose. :( I have messages, asks (both answered and unanswered) that mean so much to me. I have silly posts and conversations I can never get back, and just so much history that was purged without a moment’s notice. I don’t know what my tumblr presence will be like from here on out–even if tumblr does reinstate my reallycorking blog in response to my support request, my trust in this platform is totally gone after they ripped away my blog without any warning.

To Cis People Dating Trans People: Body Parts

If you’re new to dating/having sex with trans people, it’s incredibly important to be respectful when referring to trans people’s bodies as, for a lot of trans people, their bodies will be a huge area of dysphoria. Here are some tips.

• Not everyone gets dysphoria about everything, all the time: in particular, if someone tells you they’re trans it doesn’t necessarily mean they are striving to have bottom surgery (genital surgery) and to assume so can be very upsetting because there are a number of complex reasons why someone might not get/might not want to get bottom surgery. Genitals aren’t the base reason we are trans.
• When talking about a trans person’s body, don’t use “female” and “male” to refer to their sexual organs. It works when labelling plants, but for people it’s best to steer clear of these.
• Terms like “afab”/“amab”/“ftm”/“mtf” can be upsetting to a lot of trans people. So always find out what someone prefer to use for themselves and if you’re unsure - consider if you even need to mention it??
• Let your partner take the lead at conversation when it comes to body parts. As trans people we are all too used to being made to feel like freak shows or research projects. If you let your partner know they can trust you and be open with you, if they want to have sex with you they will let you know what you can/can’t touch and the preferred terms they use for body parts.
• Don’t be surprised if a trans person finds it a turn-on for you to use gender-affirming language in regards to sex. We are not fetishing being trans. This is especially relevant to trans people who do not pass as often people think this is the case. In reality, often the comfort of knowing someone respects us is the turn on. And consider that even cis guys will get turned on by someone talking about their hard cock, that if you use that language for a trans person it’s reasonable to expect the same response if that’s how they identify their genitalia.

We’re now recruiting for SFX letterers! Since day one, we’ve always been doing SFX for most of our series. However, picking fonts has always taken a lot of time, and it can even be hard to replicate the original SFX written in Japanese/raws. 

After consideration, the group is now looking into doing SFX lettering! This role is typically handdrawn,and will most likely require a drawing tablet (but mouse is fine if you prefer that).

We believe handdrawing the SFX can have more creative results and match the raws without trouble, instead of wasting one’s time looking for the font they think is best whenever they encounter an SFX.

You don’t need the skills for other editing roles, and you won’t be typesetting dialogue as well. Just the SFX.

KS Calendar 2022

First off, we want to just say thank you. As always, we are so grateful for the wonderful support from everyone.

We wanted to do more this year and push ourselves since we had such a positive reaction last year. We added bookmarks and stickers this year. This year, we are taking inspiration from myths, lore, and legends. There will be a mix of soft wonder, romance to darker, sexier stories.
