Not strictly vtm, but vtm got my into my vampire phase which got me reading a ton of vampire books! this one is one of my favorites, lots of moments that hit me in the gut

I wanted to share full version of this artwork i drew for @amillionworldsdesign i will be doing all the covers for acotar book series. I’m so excited, i always wanted to do alternate covers for this book series and now i can finally do it. honestly so excited haha hope you guys will like all the covers i will do. can’t wait to share. P.S we decided to be true to the book so we drew Rhys pale (cuz he spends more than 50 years under the mountains) on the next covers he will have his tanned dark skin. hope you guys will understand xoxo

honestly lost couth how many times I’ve drawn ACOTAR characters, every time I say that I wont draw them, I keep doing it, again and again. those characters have special place in my heart. they remind me good old times, and how excited I was to read their story. I’m sure everyone knows who he is. our beloved AZ from A Court of thorns and Roses book series by @sjmaas this piece was commissioned by @theclovercrate and you will see more characters from ACOTAR in the future. xoxo

this project was something I really enjoyed working on. It’s only been 8 months since I drew Kell. (I meant to draw her sooner. Whoops.)

Kit Rodriguez. One of the first Latinx characters I encountered in fantasy/scifi. I related to Nita more when I was a child, but Kit’s existence meant a lot to me because latinx characters in anything was scarce, not to mention a latinx wizard with an accent and who spoke Spanish.

Nita Callahan from “So You Want To Be A Wizard” by Diane Duane. This was a formative book for me and influenced a lot on how i think of magic in fantasy and scifi.
