I started rereading The Long way to A Small Angry Planet this week so I thought I’d add another character design to my ongoing project; Captain Ashby Santoso.

l almost didn’t post this cuz it looks very surreal and abstract to me.
I just finished reading ‘The Ocean at the End of the Lane’, written by Neil Gaiman. I recommend reading it if you like 'Coraline’ or 'Bridge to Terabithia’, because this story felt like a hybrid of the two. The book was so beautifully illustrated as well. You don’t see too many illustrated novels. I really wanted to draw a scene from it.

I did character drawings for the book Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody! I’ll be sharing them one by one, and here is the first one: the protagonist Sorina Gomorrah. I had a blast drawing these characters because they all have unique features to them that I got to design. The book is already out so check it out :)
