Yeah, 'Saved by the Bell’ was my first thought, but I wanted to try something slightly different and experiment with the dip-pens some more. Think I overworked this one. I think it looks better in the flesh (or paper), but I had so much fun with the tiny little details.

#Inktober #Day8: ‘Crooked’
”There was a crooked man…”
Bought myself some proper ink and drawing nibs to play with, and this is the first thing I’ve done with them. Slightly ill prepared for the ink wash part, having not dug out one of the various welled pallettes I have lying around. Plenty of room for improvement.
I do LOVE the line quality from the scratchy nibs though. I can see these becoming my favourite inking tool (and cheaper that #Copic Multilinear [which I also need more supplies of]).
