Second week of #Inktober down, and I’m having a great time.

The #Copic markers haven’t seen as much use, but the dip-pen and ink have been a revelation. Soooo good to use.
Breaking out my compressor and airbrushes has also been fun, even if I was just putting down some flat black. I hope to get back to doing something more interesting with that in the near future.

”There was a crooked man…”

Bought myself some proper ink and drawing nibs to play with, and this is the first thing I’ve done with them. Slightly ill prepared for the ink wash part, having not dug out one of the various welled pallettes I have lying around. Plenty of room for improvement.
I do LOVE the line quality from the scratchy nibs though. I can see these becoming my favourite inking tool (and cheaper that #Copic Multilinear [which I also need more supplies of]).

Wasn’t entirely sure what to do for crooked, was tempted to try drawing a crooked cop but then remembered that I should practice architecture more so took a chance to do so.
The hunter looks pretty off and the detail on the parts around the statue could use a lot of improvement but it’s a start.

I’ve had 3 days off so IU thought I’d just see how many inktober drawings I can jam through!

5. Long. I kinda substituted ‘tall’ for ‘long’ here 
6. Sword. Designed some swords.
7. Shy. A wee Animal Corssing style shy rabbit
8. Crooked. Yuuri and his glasses.
9. Screech. I went kind of obscure here and did a screech owl.
10. Gigantic. I did one of my favourite big fluffy horses
