Oh my god, Jesus Christ! (Oh no that’s another movie.)
Michael Palin as a nice specimen of prehistoric males.
Evolution could thank him - sad it’s only a sketch from The Complete and Utter History of Britain.

This character aged quite quickly until he became the “It’s” man in Flying Circus.

Brilliant punchline of this sketch (from 06:08).

It can easily be misheard, like:
“I’m not as screwed as this in real life, you know.”

Which is quite relevant, but pretty inaccurate.

…lovely

This time the not-so-nice one, in the Travel Agent Sketch.

What a relief!

Judge Michael Palin, carrying ‘Harmony Hairspray’ in his suspender in one of the early ‘70s unaired industrial films by Monty Python.

“It was an act of pure optimism to propose the question in the first place.”

…some of Michael’s Ripping Yarns characters.
Lovely writing and acting there; nice proportion of surreal and relentlessly realist approach.

Hello, Miss!”

Do not adjust your cameraman’s sunset.

What a brilliant, spot-on, short summary on society.
Who wrote this sketch?

Killing time on the Pacific, a highlight of the local surrealistic community performance on deck:

Michael, having ketchup all over his body, with a rope around his neck, drinking a cocktail made of coffee, mustard, chocolate, curry powder, 2 eggs, tabasco, and soy sauce.
