Spun Prism lamp by Umut Yamac

The British designer and architect Umut Yamac created this beautiful, geometrical combination of copper, mercerized cotton, and stainless steel. The Spun Prism pendant lamp uses the weight of the lighting element and the metal to form a prism-like structure of woven cords. The nested prisms vary in color, in combination with the changing visual appearance from different angles, this combination creates the illusion of depth and movement.
