The goal behind this speaker concept of Ben Lorimore, a graduate student at Western Washington University, was to create a physical representation of music, that is playful and warm in haptic to interact with. Water Lily Desk by Jonas Lyndby Jensen Design

The Danish designer Jonas Lyndby Jensen Extended his beautiful Water Lily series. The desk and bench join the stool and the sideboard in the collection.

The shape of the top of the Water Lily desk is beautifully carved from a single piece of wood. The tabletop is bordered by an elegant edge that faces upward at the sides and the back of the desk, keeping items from rolling off the table. At the front, the edge faces downward, forming a smooth round shape, comforting your arms when they rest at the end of the surface. Together these delicate lines result in a nice minimalistic design with some smooth and eye-catching details.

The accompanying bench takes the characteristic shapes to offer a comforting place to sit.
