he’s a heavily modded older disney store jasmine head on an unknown brand teenage size action figure body. i chose that body because i wanted him to be about the same height as mirabel. the hands didn’t come w that body but unsure where they did come from.

i did the sculpting with heatmold plastic and the painting with vallejos acrylics

i did have a previous version on this head where i didn’t change the eyes from the original sculpt but it just didn’t look anything like the character. he needs specifically to have his eyes very close together…

his hair got curled with chenilles and boiling water after the face was done, which is backwards to usual but worked out ok

he’s wearing the same ruana i sewed for my first try, over a justin bieber doll shirt and barbie pants from an ebay seller. his sandals were from a middle eastern civilian action figure (i forget which… i bought them parted out)

the bandeja paisa he’s eating is made by @bellejanewednesday in polymer clay. his coffee cup and talisman necklace are both charms off aliexpress.
