Isn’t this THE MOST photogenic makeup bag ever????
I got the “Crystal Quartz 12 Piece Brush Set” by @bhcosmetics and I am in love with all this holographicness. It’s way higher quality than I expected from a holographic bag (usually they show scratches way too easily), but like every other BH product I own, it’s TOP-NOTCH. The brushes are so silky smooth too, like the EcoTools ones I have always enjoyed.
I also ordered some more makeup for myself (and an xmas gift for someone else) for my birthday - the perks and curse of having a birthday right around Black Friday.
But really, I recommend anything from BH. My favourite products (that aren’t in stock right now) are the “Paradise Prime” hydrating primer and “Paradise Set” setting spray that I got last summer. Like I didn’t ever use either of those before, but I took a chance, and now I use them EVERY time I put on makeup because it makes it smudge-proof while feeling completely breathable and lightweight. (Cakey makeups just do not suit my dry skin/not easy to wear during summer either.) I got my fingers crossed they’ll bring em back this next summer because I will 100% stock up.

2021 is almost over … I spent the last few days of the year relaxing, recharging my batteries, and just doing whatever I felt like doing. ✨ I let the year pass in review and look back on many great moments but also phases in which I was not so happy and felt totally unmotivated. But that‘s ok, they are part of life and I have learned from them.
I don’t want to make any resolutions for the next year because it depresses me when I don’t keep them. But I want to set goals that I want to work towards. If I reach them it would be great, but I want to be happy about every step that leads me towards to them.
How about you? :)
By the way, this is how I will spend New Year’s Eve: In my pajamas eating pizza, drinking champagne and playing Super Mario Party (and visiting my villagers of course! #acnh). What a wonderful last day of 2021.

I was thinking all the time whether I should finish the #christmastimewithkaroline2021 challenge beyond Christmas or not … I wanted to finish it, but somehow I didn’t feel like drawing it anymore. The thought bother me so much that I had to decide, otherwise I could not draw anything(!). I did not want to allow this negative feeling of uncertainty, so I decided to say “STOP!” and draw what I feel like. Even if the challenge is not completed, I have learned a lot from it & now I feel a bit relieved and more motivated to draw new things.
Do you understand my thoughts and sometimes feel the same way? If yes, it is ok. After all, we learn from all situations. ✨
