Time for another Bunday! The next Magic: The Gathering set has a new creature token type, Inkling, and boy did I have to get a bunny done for that! This is probably the first bunny token art I’ve done that draws some heavy inspiration from the actual token art. I was a bit lost at first on what to do, but I really liked the purple eyed ink creatures on the official tokens, so I rolled in that direction. And then I just got a bit to in to doing the value shading. Whoops.
This will be added to the bunny creature token cards I have for sale!
Happy Bunday! I just wanted to draw a bunny with a knife. That’s it. So here is my bunny, Heisenberg, wielding a knife. Lop bunnies have the best “Don’t eff with me” faces ever. (Next Bunday will be up on Patreon/Ko-fi and here in the Secret Rabbit House channels on Discord before the day ends or tomorrow!)

It’s BUNDAY and here’s a Lola Bunny! I just thought it would be funny to draw her after seeing people get huffy over her redesign for the new Space Jam movie. Female buns can get something called a dewlap! ‘Tis a pouch of fat they get under their chin, totally natural. When a female bun is nesting (either because she’s gonna have babies or is just hormonal), they will pull fur from their forelegs and dewlap area to use as material. Sooooooo…. I just gave Lola a big ole dewlap because she’s a bunny and that’s what she’d have!

Happy Bunday! So, I would have done a cute V-day bun, but I asked my nephews what bunny they’d want me to draw, and they said “A spooky bunny!” and well, I can’t say no to THAT. BUT, I wanted to keep it cool for a 6 and a 4 year old, so went with a classic movie monster. I present to you all, the Bunny from the Black Lagoon!

Happy Holidays! There must be reindeer jackalopes, right? I dearly want to do a full set of Santa’s Jackalopes, but I dunno if my anxiety levels will allow it. BUT, if I do, this one’s totally Dasher. Based him on a jackrabbit. What bun types would you guys match with the different reindeer?

A friend and Patron gave me this Chinese poem about Mulan for a Bunday idea!
“The male hare’s feet go hop skip
The female hare’s eyes are muddled and fuddled
But when two hares are running side by side
How can you tell the female from male?”
I think I want to keep this poem for another piece in the future. I’d LOVE to do a piece in India ink with a dip pen and brush with similar posing. I feel a bit bad this came out as simple as it did and want to have another go later.

Iiiiiit’s Bunday! Thanks to all my Patron supporters for Bunday returning in a more consistent space. Bunday was a Patron goal and then I fell out of practice with them, and I am intent on making sure Bundays happen at least twice a month from here on out.
A Hunter bun! I definitely want to color this little dude, and as I was smart and sketched and lined this in Clip Studio, I can transfer this to my iPad and do that there if I want. Whoo!

Happy Bunday! When I sat down last week to draw a Bunday, all I could think about was FFXIV as I was still trying to drag my way through the dread A Realm Reborn. So I drew my viera white mage (and have since finished A Realm Reborn)! So happy Bunday from this lass, who wishes tanks and DPS would understand that there is a threshold of damage that she cannot heal over.
