“Oh, wow! You’re still here!” A voice interrupted her thinking, way too bright and cheery considering it was close to midnight. Zoya looked up to meet Alina’s gaze. Aleksander’s assistant was dressed in a smile and a yellow sundress that could almost be deemed inappropriate for the workplace environment. Alina was the only one that ever tried to wear colors like that, and Zoya was pretty sure no one else would be able to get away with that. “Do you need anything? Coffee?”
Zoya raised an eyebrow as she shoved the fidget toy back into her desk drawer. “You know you’re not my assistant, right?”
