Before the pandemic it is estimated that 600 billion coffee cups are thrown away every year and about 120 billion come from Americans alone, says @foodprintorg. With their plastic lids, straws, and paper or plastic cups the “to-go” coffee culture is a big part of this problem. We are rethinking disposables. By emphasizing reusable drinkware we can make a dent in our consumption. Otherwise we aren’t leaving only footprints.
