Have Selfie Stick and Know How to Use It A little #RichardArmitage and a lot of @BarackObama

A word or two about the selfie stick since it seems to have created a bit of a ripple in RA universe the last few weeks.

Hello! I love the selfie stick. I mean it allows the user to show his/her surroundings which means that it’s really about getting something in the photo besides yourself. Wish I’d had one when Armitage Besotted and I were trying to get the Brooklyn Bridge in our selfie. But…

Richard Armitage Morphing Into Francis Dolarhyde? #RichardArmitage #Hannibal

One of the first things I noticed about Richard Armitage was his ability to change his look. My goodness at times I was asking myself if the guy who played Guy of Gisborne was the same guy who played John Standring. For the new fans, I think you are about to experience the same.

The photo above is a very different look from what we have seen recently. Could it be that Richard has so immersed…

Dorktastic Returns Adventures of #RichardArmitage in China?

So Richard Armitage went to China for The Hobbit premiere, and it’s been well covered, but I’ve got to add my two.

We’ve been treated to an array of photos of this caliber:

RichardArmitage by Sarah Dunn

…courtesy of Sarah Dunn and her Leica, and all designed to make us go, “Oooh, Baby!” and I do at times. Yeah, I sometimes think, “Wow…”

But mostly I think, “You’ve come a long way from this, Baby:”

Richard, I Still Love, Love, Love, You #RichardArmitage

Okay, so I got that out of the way, or maybe not. I may have a fake fan letter in me before I quit this post.  But in the meantime, I have to say something again (that for strangers reading who don’t understand the magic of Richard Armitage fandom) is the massive key to the fandom’s appeal. It’s about the friends.  Oh make no mistake fandom can be a rough and tumble world. A bully or two exists,…

Trying to Keep up Life and #RichardArmitage blogging

I haven’t lost complete track of Richard Armitage but darn near. As some of you know, I started a business, and it’s taken almost everything out of me. It is working, but it’s like being pregnant, giving birth and then dealing with an infant. All things that take the stuffing out of someone in her childbearing years let alone someone like me who is long past that. Yep, that’s my concession that…

Sharon Tate in Cannes (1968)

These candid shots were taken by Italian photographer Elio Sorci, and were taken the same day, in fact a few minutes later, of those photos in which Sharon and Polanski are walking and she stops to greet a dog, precisely she and Roman were going to that restaurant that was a few steps away.

The three pictures in which Sharon appears to be alone and smiling are actually photos like those in which she’s with Polanski; the photographer turned casual photos into portraits that look like they came from a photo shoot.

Sharon didn’t even realize she was being photographed; That’s why I think those photos, especially the first one in this post, is the most beautiful candid shot of Sharon Tate.
