  • Allow child marriage because of a pedophile religious leader

oh the ignorance. first of all, the marriage may have been decided at an early age, but that was cultural. not religious.

That one single marriage, yes. The post was not about one single instance, but a practice.

second they were not MARRIED until she had menstruated

SHE WAS A CHILD

as well as was old enough to understand the decision she was being asked to make as well as agree with it.

You are literally doing nothing but making shit up in order to excuse child marriage. That’s just gross. What kind of fucking empathy loss do you have to reach in order for this to be remotely okay? Oh yeah, that’s right. Religion fixes that for you.

The three conditions that Islam places on marriage. so that’s where you’re incorrect both historically, culturally and religiously. now lets look at this biologically (scientifically).

Dude. A. Child.

In the Animal kingdom, all animals go through 2 life stages, and many go through 3. The larvae, juvenile, and the adult. The larvae and the juvenile life stage differ than the adult in ALL animals. because the adult stage is only reached when the animal can reproduce, or have the ability to produce gametes. Just because today’s youth is “slow” in their maturation process, does not mean that what our beloved did was wrong.

Dude wtf? None of that is interconnected. You are probably just repeating what was drilled into your brainwashed mind, because I can’t possibly guess how else you could say this crap and think that you’re making sense.

Also, culturally, you assume that because there was an agreement of marriage, they were also sexual. WRONG!!!! YOU assign sexual activity with marriage and honeymoon, this does not mean they necessarily did. so there is your pedophilia argument proven wrong.

From what I understand, the marriage was consummated at 9 years old. So yes, your “beloved” raped a 9 year old girl. Cool.

That’s pedophilia, I’m sorry. No, actually, I’m not sorry about that; I’m sorry that you’ve progressed to the stage where you’re fine with raping 9 year old children if it’s from a religious leader.

In today’s society, we see children 9-13 pregnant with men they are not even married to.

No, actually, we don’t. I haven’t.

to boys they met and had a “good time” with. They drink and do drugs and exclaim that they are adults.

You mean you have child predators who are intoxicating their victims? Not “boys”?

He respected her and and she loved him.

Yeah. I’m sure. That’s why he raped her when she was 9.

When a kid is 9, they’re supposed to be learning stories, playing with toys, eating bugs and shit. Not having some middle-aged man rape them.

To his dying day, she never once spoke ill of her husband. Try finding a woman today that will do that for her husband.

Your arguments are, without exaggeration, absolutely nauseating. You keep saying all these things that make absolutely no sense, and you keep making all these damn excuses. For what? Child rape? Where the fuck is your mind?

So please, dont spread hate because of your lack of knowledge and understanding of our religion. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Granted that there are people who do this sort of stuff and justify it by using the prophet as an example but they are equally wrong in their ways. I hope this helps everyone see Islam a little better. If you have any questions, ask away, and I pray that Allah will guide me to answer them as fully and correctly as I can

After reading your essay on why child rape can be excused for religious reasons, I think I am pretty solid in my understanding of your religion.

Three members of a Texas family were sentenced to prison last week in the brutal 2013 beating and stomping of a 13-year-old relative who authorities said was raped – and impregnated – by her own brother.

Sharon Jones, 47, of Dallas, and two of her children, Cedric Jones Jr., 29, and Cecila McDonald, 28, pleaded guilty for their part in the 2013 crime, which caused the girl to miscarry, The Dallas Morning News reportedThe newspaper reported in 2016 that the victim and five siblings, including a younger sister forced to help hold her down during the beating, moved from California to Texas to live with Sharon Jones, their aunt, after their grandmother died.

“Most people would treat strangers better,” prosecutor Rachel Burris said during last week’s sentencing hearing, according to the newspaper. “Yet these people did it to someone they promised to love.

“They held her down. They forced her to lay there while people stomped her. It was savage.”Explore>> Read more trending newsA judge sentenced Sharon Jones to 12 years in prison. Cedric Jones was sentenced to five years in prison and his sister was sentenced to serve seven years, according to the Morning News. The siblings and their mother each pleaded guilty to felony family violence aggravated assault.

A fourth suspect, Lonnell McDonald, was convicted in 2016 of aggravated assault and sentenced to 10 years in prison, the newspaper reported. The beating, which the now-19-year-old victim reported in 2015, stemmed from a sexual assault case in which the girl’s 24-year-old brother was accused of raping her in 2012, when she was 13. The brother, who relocated to Dallas a year before his siblings, was ordered to not have contact with them, though it was not immediately clear why.
The brother’s name is being withheld to help shield the victim’s identity.

Testimony in Lonnell McDonald’s trial showed that, despite Sharon Jones promising to take in the siblings to keep them out of foster homes, the children were instead sent to live with Lonnell and Cecila McDonald. Their older brother was living at the McDonald home at the time, the Morning News reported. It was there that the alleged sexual assault took place, according to testimony.

Sharon Jones is accused of telling the girl and her siblings to lie to Texas Child Protective Services caseworkers so authorities would not find out they were living in the same home as their brother. The 13-year-old victim told authorities that she told Jones and Cecila McDonald about the sexual assault after it came out that their older brother had sexually abused McDonald’s own three young children.

The women, who were reportedly worried that McDonald would lose custody of her children, never told authorities about the girl’s allegations. The brother has since been found mentally incompetent to stand trial and his criminal charges remain in limbo, the Morning News said. When the teen’s relatives learned that she was eight months pregnant, they tried forcing Plan B birth control pills and cinnamon tablets on her to induce a miscarriage, the Morning News reported. When that didn’t work, they held her down and took turns stomping on her abdomen.

Cecila McDonald screamed during the attack, ”(Expletive), you ain’t about to get my kids taken away from me,“ the newspaper said. After beating her for hours, they left the girl in a bathtub, bleeding and drifting in and out of consciousness, as she gave birth to a stillborn baby, the Morning News reported. To combat her loss of blood, they fed her iron pills. The victim told authorities they took her baby away before she got to see the child. The girl’s younger sister tried to care for her afterward.

The Morning News reported in 2016 that the younger girl, who was 12 during the attack, was granted immunity in the case in return for her testimony. After the baby was born, Cecila McDonald put the infant’s body in a bucket. She, her brother and her mother then tried to burn the remains on a grill. Sharon Jones subsequently paid her son $25 to get rid of the portion that did not burn. The Morning News said he hid the remains, which have never been found."To this day, we don’t know what happened to that baby," Burris told jurors during Lonnell McDonald’s trial.

A former Washington, D.C., police officer and pastor will spend 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting two teen girls.

Darrell Best, 46, was sentenced Friday for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at police headquarters and a 16-year-old girl at the church where he served as pastor. He also pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge and will be restricted from being alone with minors for the rest of his life.

Judge Reggie Walton wanted Best to serve life in prison, but agreed to the plea agreement to avoid putting the victims through a trial, News4’s Mark Segraves reports.

The sister of one victim told the judge her sister no longer feels safe going to church.

“I still see the pain in my sister everyday,” she said.

“I can understand how a child who was betrayed by her minister can give up on God,” Walton said.

About 40 members of Best’s church came to the hearing wearing T-shirts that read “Team Best.”

Segraves said the sentencing was very emotional at times, with the father of one of the victims screaming Best “should die in jail.”

“The judge didn’t give him enough time,” the father said.

Court officers removed him from the courtroom.

But Walton agreed the sentence wasn’t enough.

“You should be put away for life,” he said.

Best cried during the proceedings.

The 16-year-old victim told police Best sexually abused her three times at the church, beginning in December 2014. He was off-duty during the incidents, police said. According to charging documents, Best was in uniform on one occasion when he raped the girl inside the church.

Best took at least seven sexually explicit pictures of the 16-year-old.

The second victim, who was 17 at the time, said Best sexually assaulted her in his office on the fifth floor of police headquarters after he took her out to dinner, according to charging documents. He was wearing his badge and gun at the time.

“I am hopeful the sentencing today provides some measure of comfort for these victims and their families,” D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier in a press release Friday.

When he is released from prison, Best will be placed on supervised release for the rest of his life and must register as a sex offender.

Best’s attorney Nikki Lotze said Friday that her client is “very remorseful” and “glad to be putting this behind him.”

A Washington, D.C., cop and preacher has been locked up, charged with sexually abusing a teenage girl from his church.

The Metropolitan Police Department arrested Darrell Best, 45, on Monday night, two days after a 16-year-old congregant of God Of A Second Chance Ministry came forward as an alleged victim, police announced late Monday.

“She felt intimidated to the point that she couldn’t resist,” the girl’s father, who did not want to be identified, told WTTG-TV, the first to report the allegations.

Another church member, who is now 18, said that Best groomed her, offering to help her begin a career in law enforcement, then taking her to dinner in December 2014 and, later that night, to D.C. police headquarters, where she alleged he forced her to perform sexual acts, WTTG reported.

“I told him ‘No’ on multiple occasions, plenty of times,“ the woman told the TV station. “And he was armed and I didn’t know what he could’ve had up his sleeve.”

Best, a 25-year veteran of the force and the pastor of the Southern Ave. SE church, has been placed on administrative leave, The Washington Post reported.

Authorities collared Best in Largo, Md., and he’s currently in jail at the D.C. Department of Corrections, department officials said.

Darrell Best of God of Second Chance Ministries accused of raping 16 and 18 year-old girls in Washington DC in December 2014.

Best noted the charges “are only allegations and when or if there is an appropriate time, I will comment further,” he said in a statement sent to WTTG. The station also quoted Best’s mother as saying that her son resigned his position at the church.

Child Sexual Abuse

Child sexual abuse can be hard to detect for several reasons. Children’s bodies tend to naturally heal very quickly and sexual predators are known to extensively groom their victims to ensure that little or no evidence of the assault took place.

While this list is by no means exhaustive, it can serve as an initial tool for a concerned party to evaluate whether they should report a possible case of child sexual abuse to the police or local child protective services.
