Summary: Dimly, Waxer feels heat all along his back, pressed close. When he inhales through his nose, slow and deep, he becomes aware of a hand on his chest, fingers splayed under his loose shirt. Humming faintly, he rubs his right cheek against Boil’s upper arm, upon which his head is pillowed, as soft breaths caress the nape of his neck.
“Time ’s it?” he mumbles, luxuriating in a warm haze.
“Dunno, lights ‘r still off,” Boil whispers, trailing his lips over the bumps of Waxer’s vertebrae. His mustache prickles faintly, comforting and familiar. “Jus’ woke up.”
“Mmm…” Waxer starts to drift off again when Boil shifts behind him, the hard line of his cock against Waxer’s tailbone. “’S 'at why you woke up?” he asks, pushing back just enough to make it clear what he’s referring to.
Boil hums, stroking his thumb over Waxer’s chest. “Prob'ly.”
Lifting his left arm, Waxer lays it over Boil’s hand on his chest. “Gonna do anything about it?”

I finally finished designing Echo’s prostheses for the RCAU, and I’ve been plugging away at the Echo/Fives/Thorn fic (starting on chapter 6 today or tomorrow), so I wanted to do a little sketch of the three of them. <3
I have a bunch more sketches and stuff lying around, but nobody reblogs shit on here, so posting them is more hassle than it’s worth when I can just share stuff with close friends and on a couple servers.
This is just a goofy sketch, but I like how it came out. In @anstarwar’s Fallen AU, Waxer goes away to ARC training when Boil moves into the Temple. I think we said that this hypothetical scene might be not too long after Waxer gets back from ARC training and comes to visit Boil. He’s taking off his civilian jacket and Boil is all at his new ARC muscles, haha.
