LIVE

*Ahsoka is trying to bribe Fox and the Courasant Guard into not putting her in jail since somehow she got arrested and not Anakin even though they were both there*

Ahsoka: I’ll… clean the dishes!

Fox: We don’t have dishes, next.

Ahsoka: I’ll make sure I get snacks sent over?

Thorn: Tempting…

Thire: But no.

Ahsoka: I’ll uhh…

Fox: Well? *Now genuinely curious what Ahsoka will come up with*

Ahsoka: NEXT TIME JAR-JAR BINKS IS ASSIGNED TO THE CORUSCANT GUARD I’LL MAKE SURE SKYGUY VOLUNTEERS IN YOUR PLACE.

Stone (wasn’t in the room but bursts in anyway and immediately starts shaking Ahsoka’s hand): Aaaaand you have yourself a deal, congratulations, and good luck!

Stone: *shoves Ahsoka out of the jail before she can change her mind*

Part 2

Fox: *wakes up and remembers about the important Senate meeting and Senate meetings only mean one thing: paperwork*

Fox: Am I dead yet?

Thorn: It’s the Senate meeting today then.

Stone: Yeah it’s the paperwork dreading look.

Thire: You could… volunteer to help instead of commenting on his existential crisis?

Thorn: So could you?

Thire: …

Word count: ~3.7k

Warnings: Allusions to mental health breakdown and being committed for it, but nothing else.

Author’s note: Here, have an early chapter! I was hoping I could update this and Candy Girl both this week since I’m indisposed next week. Hopefully I’ll be able to deliver on that promise. We’re finally getting into more spicy territory after this chapter. Thanks to the lovely @ashotofspotchka for reading this over for me!

The shuttle station is disgusting.

Fox can’t see a lot of people in the station. He can see the evidence of a lot of people coming through, though. Lots of graffiti on the walls. He’s pretty sure there’s a lifetime of gum underneath the bench he’s sitting on as he waits for Thorn’s shuttle.

He doesn’t know why he was surprised when he initially arrived. Coruscant is probably one of the most disgusting places. People who don’t live in the city have this romantic idea that it’s a shining city representative of hope and new beginnings. Hope and new beginnings are things only rich people can afford. The rest of the people can only afford shitty apartments in constant need of repairs and a job that barely covers rent and food.

The loudspeaker clicks on.

“Shuttle 953 to Naboo is now boarding. Shuttle 953 is now boarding.”

What a nice way to start my day!!!

It’s such a nice chapter…again.

“Of course.” The unspoken ‘you’re my brother, and I’d do anything for you’ lingers in the air for a second between them.
“It’s good to have you back.”
Thorn smiles. It’s a soft smile. Fox can’t help answering with a smile of his own. It’s been so long since he’s seen any of his vod smile, especially Thorn.
“It’s good to be back.”

I LOVE the chemistry and their brotherly bonds. It’s so heartwarming. And the way Fox drives like he’s in a bumper car ride on a fair. Poor Thorn! Must be really brave to ride shotgun… Maybe it was his brother’s way to drive that brought him to psych ward! Definitely NOT C

And then the scene in Leena’s apartment! The way you descibe it, the clean and unpersonal scene. Photos of her, the only personal stuff she has. It fits ! I mean it shows somehow her superficial and narcissistic personality! It’s only her that matters and she doesn’t want to allow anything personal or likeable around her. Even not to herself!

And Ohhhhh the tension in the room when Fox recognises Celestia! It’s perfect!
