I wanted to do something a little different for @212thappreciation Week, so I picked ‘mythology’ and went with dryad!Boil and gargoyle!Waxer. Dryads are generally shy and reclusive, and gargoyles are one of the few strictly benevolent mythological creatures I could think of, so I felt like these fit them. I used gargoyles from Notre Dame Cathedral as inspiration for Waxer’s look.
I don’t have any particular story in mind behind this image, but when I was working on it, some friends and I were tossing around ideas. We figured Boil lives all alone in this forest and then, one day—THWUMP—something heavy lands on his tree. He steps out of the tree, scowling and about to snap, “Get off my lawn!” when he spots a very cheerful gargoyle. Maybe Waxer got blown off course by a storm or something, but in any case, he ended up in this forest, and they’re totally going to be the best of friends.
This is just a goofy sketch, but I like how it came out. In @anstarwar’s Fallen AU, Waxer goes away to ARC training when Boil moves into the Temple. I think we said that this hypothetical scene might be not too long after Waxer gets back from ARC training and comes to visit Boil. He’s taking off his civilian jacket and Boil is all at his new ARC muscles, haha.
Story:Jaime has been tortured by Ace and Eli, twin brothers, for nearly a decade. Jaime and Ace have a very complicated romance; he loves Ace but also deeply hates him for the seemingly endless pain, torture, and terror he’s put him through. Tristan loves Ace and Eli like they’re his sons. He wants revenge for what Jaime has done to them.
So, there’s a lot I want to change about this, but it’s time to move on. Nothing is on model. I am so rusty at gestures because I’ve been drawing almost nothing but tarot cards for the last five-odd years. I need a ton more practice to loosen up again and start doing more quality work, but this was a great start. I am going to make more OC animatics, and I can’t wait to share them with you all.
I don’t know much about Drana, but she seems a very imposing figure so I tried to get that vibe for her. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the stream, it was a great time having ya!
An exceptionally overwrought Timofey painting I did years and years ago. A fancy lad!
To this day one of my favorite paintings of all time! Those flowers will forever remind me of the painted boxes that my grandmother used to have, so luminous and 3D.

Hello everyone, just a little update - we’re still working on Book 2, though it will be a few months before we can start posting it (hopefully in June). We’re also currently writing a side story from Ahriman’s perspective that we always intended to be a part of Book 2 experience. So keep fingers crossed for us, and once in a while we’ll be popping in here like this with some art ;>

Christmas doesn’t exist in the Dishonored universe? Well it does now. At least in some form. After all it’s the best occasion to exchange presents. And since most whalers probably do not even remember their birthdays, it will be a welcome cnage. So have some happy whalers who are preparing to have some festivities!
(Plus during the darkness of winter, it is likely that people would like some light and decorated things around them. No sun can be frustrating, so make the best out of it by celebrating)
