During CM Punk’s first encounter with MJF, where he just walked into the ring, Maxwell extended his hand and he walked away, CM Punk was wearing a Rancid “… And Out Come the Wolves” shirt. The first song on that album is called: “Maxwell Murder”.

punk got exactly what he deserved at that UFC fight. The worst part about punk’s story post-wwe is that he’s no longer a superhero, so all his bravado is just coming from some schmo named phil. he’s not actually cm punk without wrestling, he’s completely powerless. before he was a hero or an anti hero. he spoke for people… even if he was really just speaking for himself, it didn’t matter. now every humilation that he has suffered along the way, save the frivolous wwe lawsuit against him and another innocent party, is exactly what he has earned since leaving.

on the other hand, i respect him so much for leaving and i still revere the cm punk character as a holy figure in wrestling, along with Owen Hart who physically died for wrestling’s sins and not his own. Punk is the greatest not only because he was the best performer of our generation with no one able to touch him even at the current moment, but also because he was the only wrestler to ever be smart enough to really leave wrestling and, in typical punk fashion, completely burn the bridge down in the process. the fact that he will (likely) never return is what makes him better than all the kurts, all the brets, all the hbks, and any other legend that came back with their tail between their legs. cm punk the wrestler is completely superpowered, and WWE trying to sell brock lesnar as what a superpowered wrestler “actually” looks like is another pathetic attempt from wwe at telling people how to feel. that company is dead to me for so many reasons, but seeing brock victory after brock victory and the reactions from a completely complacent audience prove that punk was right to leave.

Phil Brooks sucks but cm punk is forever.

Look I’m incredibly happy for Cody. You can tell he’s genuinely happy to be back. I honestly don’t think he returned to be malicious against AEW. He has said several times he still wants AEW to succeed. WWE stans are being insufferable on Twitter saying this is the end of AEW… Like where did you get that? I love Cody he’s a fantastic wrestler who truly loves this business but AEW is completely fine without him. They have their own big stars in Kenny Omega, The Bucks, Adam Cole, Hangman Page, MJF, CM Punk, Darby Allin to just name a few. All Elite Wrestling isn’t going anywhere.

Why can’t we all just enjoy the different awesome promotions without trying to drag or degrade anyone? Like live in the moment & just be happy.

Speaking of pro wrestling (as I am in the Superstar Shakeup live blog), Kurt Angle is the current general manager on Monday Night Raw, an Olympic gold medalist, and a Catholic.

When CM Punk (currently retired from wrestling) called Pope Benedict XVI “a Nazi” in 2013, Angle came to the Holy Father’s defense, albeit a rather earthy manner.  I, for one, have no problem with Pope Benedict “whip[ping] Punk’s skinny ass.”  I doubt His Holiness has any plans to do so, however.

Saint Sebastian, patron of athletes, pray for us.

Pope Benedict XVI, pray for us.

Eric Bischoff is legitmately bankrupt, you can find it here as it’s public https://t.co/3Lt0xKR9WI

He is doing literally anything possible to make a quick buck and his current anti-aew grift is some of the most embarassing sad shit to see from a guy that at one point was neck and neck with the WWF, and now he has nothing.

It would be sad if Eric wasn’t such a fucking scumbag.

From the man that had Lanny Poffo sit at home on a 6 figure deal, the Kiss demon, Bret Hart in WCW and countless more, he is a fool, a moron, a goofball.
