Cochabamba, Bolivia.
This is one of the girls’ preferred spots for skateboarding for its beauty. It is a little downhill located in Quillacollo on a road that goes to the Pairumani park, in the outskirts of Cochabamba. ImillaSkate, Bolivian female skating collective, wanted to share places that represent their town and the beauty and nature that is always present. The road is filled with iconic trees from Cochabamba’s flora and it is also the area of plantation fields that are responsible for many agricultural workplaces for many people in the community. There’s a wide variety of plants, which is why Cochabamba is called “Ciudad Jardín”, which translates to Garden City. Luisa Dörr
La artista Silvia Cuello ha sido invitada a participar en la BAU, la bienal de Arte Urbano de Cochabamba y ha dejado un peculiar mural en la Av. Ayacucho y Santiváñez titulado “Cuento Q’epi” (Cuento Q’ipi), en el que ironiza sobre el chismorreo como parte de la cotidianidad.
