LIVE

Although leftover sales have closed and Winter Dawn is officially finished, we do have one last wonderful announcement to share.

Thanks to incredible sales of our for-charity sketchbook, Glimpse, the Winter Dawn zine project was able to make an incredible $1105 donation to Color of Change, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting racial injustice and inequality in the United States.

An enormous thank you to all our sketchbook contributors and everyone who supported the sketchbook project to make this donation possible.

We hope you enjoyed Winter Dawn from start to finish, and thank you all for joining us on the journey of this fantastic zine project!

Hello all,

Frederator Networks is privileged to be part of a vast network of creators of every race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation. We’re firmly rooted in the support of creator-driven stories that come from personal, unique, and diverse perspectives.

We feel strongly about the injustices that the Black community is faced with. Black lives matter, and we stand with protesters against police brutality and the systemic racism that causes and enables it.

All of us at Frederator have been having constant internal conversations educating one another, staying informed, and most importantly, planning how we can do more and do better.

We’ve decided that one of the ways is by making a donation to the nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization, Color of Change. We strongly believe in their mission to free all people from racism and injustice. This group is only one of many worthy organizations doing important work to create lasting change and equity for Black people in America, and we encourage you to continue to stay informed and get involved however you can.

To our Black network members, animators, employees, and fans - we support you, we love you, and we will continue to help you create lasting change in the world.

Sincerely, Fred

Smart, Funny, & Black… in Da Crib! 3.0

Smart Funny & Black in Da Crib brings the hit live show created by comedian/actress/producer, Amanda Seales (HBO Insecure/The Real) to the house! SFB in Da Crib brings two noteworthy smart, funny, black folks together to compete, in a head to head battle of wits that tests their knowledge of black history, black culture, and the black experience! After a night of fun as hell games, a turnt up interactive audience, and of course jokes, the show ends with one guest, literally, taking the “L”, the other, taking the crown, and being inducted into the, “Illustrious League of Master Blacksperts”. The night ain’t over yet tho! After the show our Blacksperts of the night join, host, Amanda for an after show chat answering questions from you! Then it’s off to the one-on-one meet and greet to snap a pick and have a quick laugh with, Amanda! Join us online for SFB in Da Crib, where the community is the wifi that keeps us connected!

A human rights giant like Yuri Kochiyama comes along once in a generation. Over the course of her 93 years, she worked tirelessly towards social justice for all people. From her sadly short-lived partnership with Malcolm X, to fighting for the rights of political prisoners and championing reparations for those impacted by the Japanese Internment, Kochiyama’s prolific efforts have informed the work of so many women activists like myself. She will be dearly missed.
