My second work for this reverse bang 2019 [@yurionicebigbang] goes to the second chapter of As of a Dream (on Ao3) by Lyn [@blackidyll]. This time is a Yuuri POV.

It had been days since his best friend and roommate returned to Detroit. After he returned, he looked lethargic and didn’t leave the flat they shared, an entirely understandable state with the terrible weekend he had. But then, a couple of hours ago, he excused himself and shut himself in his room, crying. The young Thai man could only hear rustling from the other side of the door, yet that noise was definitely sobbing.
Being alone like that for too long could never be good, he decided before knock on the door.
“Yuuri, can I come in?” Phichit stood beside the room’s door waiting for a reply, debating if he should enter anyway, or let Yuuri be by himself for a little longer.
It wasn’t long until he heard the tiniest ‘hai‘; from inside; Phichit gave a sad smile to the language slip before opening the door.
He knew what to expect inside, he knew. However, seeing such a state of utter despair was almost too much. Yuuri wasn’t more than a dark shape at the end of the bed in a lightless room, trying to hide from the world.
Rushing to his friend, Phichit dropped on the floor, and noticing only then the strong grip Yuuri had on his stuffed dog –the stuffed dog Yuuri was so happy to be gifted after a beautiful performance last season, because it looked just like his Vicchan, if not for the different color.
This time, though, Phichit knew the poor toy was helping channel his sorrows instead of his joy.
Yuuri hadn’t said much, but after all the chats about family they had had together, he could see the guilt his friend felt at leaving behind his dog to chase after a dream. A dream he believed was crushed in his last competition, instead of prevailing to prove all this was for something.
Realizing this, Phichit could not do more than sit there and offer his silent support. Later, he could try to get his stubborn friend on his feet again. For now, he just needed to be there for him.

As of a Dream [T, Canon divergence since Sochi, Soulmate AU]
In a world where soulmates exist and members of a pair experience signs, visions or sensory flashes about their partner, Victor is still the face of men’s singles figure skating and Yuuri is still inspired to skate competitively after witnessing Victor’s awe-inspiring Junior Worlds performance.
But in this world, they are also soulmates, and neither of them realizes it until their paths cross at the Grand Prix Final in Sochi.
Victor gets a clue. Yuuri, not so much. But fate has a way of bringing its destined pairs together, even if the road getting there is a convoluted one.

T, 2.501 words. Canon compliant, post-series, Victuri, russian family.Yuuri can’t help feeling nervous and awkward during around the Russian skaters his first few days in St. Petersburg. Thankfully, McDonald’s is an international favorite for cheat day meals. And besides, Viktor is there too.
As he laced up his skates and stepped onto the ice, Yuuri marveled at the grand Sports Champions Club rink. Even though he’d already been training there for a couple of days, the sheer enormity of it still stunned him. And of course, the fact that he was practicing in Viktor’s home rink never failed to make his inner fanboy light up with joy.
Once he finished his warm-ups, he skated to the section of rail where Viktor stood, one finger tapping gently against his lip. “Well? Where should I start, coach?” Yuuri let himself purr the last word, knowing exactly how much Viktor loved to hear it. A faint blush rushed to his fiancé’s cheeks.
Viktor leaned over the railing. He put his hands around Yuuri’s shoulders and leaned in close to whisper in his ear. “One of these days, you’re going to say that, and I won’t be able to stop myself, dorogoy.”

So it all boils down to this: Christophe Rodham hadn’t been seen for two months, and no one knew where he was, because he hadn’t told them when he left.
‘He really pulled a Gone Girl,’ Yuuri thinks wryly.
Or: In which Detective Katsuki Yuuri teams up with his husband, famous author Victor Nikiforov, to solve the case of a missing CEO’s grandson. Along the way, they’ll encounter love, betrayal, and food; and maybe they’ll even learn the meaning of family.

A straightforward headshot commission for Crimson-Spirit! They requested two versions of the same headshot, showing off two different seasonal fur patterns. :3
Again, I’m very amused that I went my whole art career only drawing a lynx once, and then I suddenly get two commissions back-to-back involving lynxes, lol. I enjoy weird coincidences like that. =P

Commission for Robinsky15, featuring their character Ralpkin who’s about to do broker some business in the middle of a raging exoplanet blizzard. :3 She was fun to draw, and overall I enjoyed working on this commission too! Robinsky’s commissions always enable me to do some really strong atmospheres, which is one of my favorite things to do in art. Case in point, check out some past commissions I’ve done for him before by clicking here!

This commission was conceived by Adryx-Dyrennin, but also features his pine marten friend, Altairey! He only requested a walk in the park between the two of them, but I added a spring time aesthetic for obvious reasons. I like to use “seasonal ingredients” in my art when I can. :3

Anthonydemaio requested that his character and his son meet Nes, with the boy getting a picture taken with Nes. I imagined this taking place at some outdoor tournament or even a county fair, with Nes being a “local celebrity” for them to meet. I intentionally did some things to replicate the style of the Little Runt comic, like adding the paper texture. And well, the rest is history! :3
