My new Pocahontas piece for the Disney Wonderground Gallery releases this weekend September 13, 2014! I will be signing from 11am-1 pm.
The original framed painting, limited edition framed canvas giclees, deluxe prints and postcards will be available for purchase.

“For whether we are white or copper skinned..” Pocahontas has always been my favorite disney princess because she was never afraid to challenge another’s ideals and speak her truth. At the time Disney didn’t have a black princess so I found myself identifying with her instead. I remember this line always sticking out to me as a little girl and I loved her for it.
