Today I bring you my art for the Wanderlust Klance travel zine. It’s a beautiful travel-themed zine and it was really nice to be a part of it!
The Roman Colosseum
The name ‘Colosseum’ is derived from the Latin word ‘colossus’ meaning enormous. This was in reference to the gigantic statue of the Emperor Nero which had been formerly erected near the site of the Colosseum.

A photo of The Colosseum I snapped when I was in Rome this summer. Very cool to see how elaborate it was underneath the main platform. To this day, I’m astounded at how the Romans managed to build something so massive and complex.
