Quem ia prever, meu amor, que seus pais resolveriam passear de mãos dadas naquele fim de tarde justamente na rua da praça em que você escolheu para realizar sua fantasia mais depravada? Não consigo imaginar a reação deles ao ver a filha amada em trajes mínimos [microsaia sem calcinha, salto alto…] oferecendo-se aos olhos dos homens que passam. Ainda bem que você os viu à distância enquanto conversava com aquele homem que já lhe passava a mão nas coxas e puxou-o para dentro da praça rapidamente… fiquei aqui com o coração na mão sem poder fazer nada. Mas agora que passou preciso te contar: sabe aquele senhor com quem você transou ali perto da estátua quando já estava anoitecendo? Pois então, amada: seus pais estavam voltando e viram você sendo pega por trás. Mas não se preocupe, amada: sua mãe virou o rosto e seu pai a arrastou para fora dali; além disso, a penumbra e o seu cabelo no rosto tornariam impossível que você fosse reconhecida. Só eu sabia que era você e a uma distância segura observava a futura mãe dos meus filhos ser prostituta por um dia.

Designed by architect Pietro Ghinelli in 1834. Built in neoclassical style with 24 doric style columns which compose an arcade. The whole structure is made of bricks. Until a few years ago, the buying and selling of fish took place under the portico on a daily basis. In the central square still today, in the morning, the itinerant merchants of fruit and vegetables carry out their activity.
