7 Comfort Films

Woke up, saw the tag, immediately had to do this because: perfect procrastination! YAY.

Most of my favorite movies fall into the comfort category because I don’t really like to be challenged or upset by my entertainment, hahaha. And I had to rule out certain choices that might seem like they’d be comfort movies for me (namely: The Lion King) because they cause me to ugly cry on every viewing. These 7 movies only make me cry a LITTLE.

1. Practical Magic
2. Away We Go
3. Legally Blonde
4. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
5. Little Women (1994 PLEASE)
6. 13 Going on 30
7. When Harry Met Sally

Honorable Mention: Wet Hot American Summer, Clueless, The Princess Diaries

And of course I’mma do the BONUS, 7 comfort TV shows, because that is much easier for me:

1. Gilmore Girls, forever and ever, to the point of absurdity
2. Friends
3. Parks and Recreation
4. Grand Designs
5. The Mindy Project
6. Portlandia
7. Dawson’s Creek, as of this year

If it’s not clear: I like light, fluffy, funny stories. Not too much death or drama these days. I do love animation but it’s hard for me to watch it in the background/without a lot of feelings.

As for tags.. @shahfla (double tag!!), @clubgetright,@darkelitekaren! If you feel like doing it. And you don’t need to include images, I was just inspired by @dingoat.

The sound I made upon opening Netflix and seeing that Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was available can best be described as a delighted Julia Child being surprised by a friendly bumblebee landing on the edge of her glass of lemonade.
