Did you guys know i started a Ko-fi page! I wanted to have a place for people who want to help support so that i can continue to make more great content for you guys and more consistently! My #cosplayglowup. So late but I finally did this challenge. Here’s a young chibi in 2014 at comic con and on the right Is my Rebecca Cosplay from earlier this year. I started taking cosplay seriously back in 2014 and I’ve accomplished way more than I thought I would at this point. It’d helped my confidence and made me feel so happy. I’ve gotten to go to way more cons that I started out with and my cosplays have reached way more people than I thought they would. I’m super excited for how far I’ve come but I’m also really anxious to improve myself and get better at all the techniques! Can’t wait to keep creating for you guys

I’ll be 100% honest here. After Saturday night of New York Comic Con I was angry and upset. Why? I still have trouble pinpointing why and there was a bunch of things that went wrong that day, but what set off me crying in the taxi back home was the fact that I was at a convention alone by myself. Again. Just like last year and the year before. Fuck feeling lonely. I have cosplay to make myself happy. No one should be upset while cosplaying. Cosplayers please reblog or comment if this has happened to you, even though you had an awesome day at the con, you just couldn’t shake that nagging feeling in your brain away that you didn’t want to be by yourself. Rant over.
Finally got all of the main garments finished for a test drive! My Frau costume for NYCC 2017 is almost done; I just have to finish the hat, the wig, and small details on the skirt! :D

I’VE LOST ALL MY LASHES SO IT WAS THE BEST I COULD DO!II actually feel a bit scary so I ’ll have to tone it down next time but was still fun haha That’s what tests are for!

More Frau Cosplay progress!
These were taken in the last 2 weeks as I managed work and cosplay on the side. The upper pic shows the over skirt skirt puffs while the other 2 are pictures of the main trim. I sewed the ermine trim to the hem yesterday and I got more gold snowflake patches layered on top of the gold front trim. I started the underskirt which will be posted tomorrow. More to come!!
