“Kisuke,” Stiletto said on the holo-screen call, with anger gradually increasing in her words, “this has to be one of your most irrational, idiotic ideas ever.”
“Now, now,” Ichabod said sweetly. “We both know I’ve had worse.”
“Not with me as the main target!” She hissed. “I’m a stealth master, not a piece of meat!”
“But my dear! You look ravishing in that outfit!”
“You know I can kill you in your sleep, right? And make it look like an accident.” The woman pointed out threateningly.
“I do,” Ichabod grinned happily. “It’s one of the many reasons I like you!”
“You’re fucked up in the head, you know that?”
“Compared to The Traitors I’m normal!”
“Just get what we need and get out, okay?” Ichigo broke up the doomed conversation.
“Fine,” Yoruichi grumped. “Tell Morningstar her training will be extended next week. I need someone to punish and Kisuke will be out of my reach.”
“Don’t threaten me with a good time!” The mad scientist sang jovially.
“Why Morningstar?” Ichigo asked irritatedly.
“Don’t get your panties in a knot, Datenshi. The girl can handle anything I throw at her,” Stiletto rolled her golden eyes.
“Bring me back a souvenir!” Kisuke winked.
Yoruichi flipped the scientist off before ending the video call.
