not to be someone who makes everything about skam españa but it’s so interesting that every other evak relationship has this dynamic where matteo, robbe etc seem so lonely and lost before their even swoops in…. I love that españa totally switched that up!! cris had great, supportive friendships and seemed comfortable and happy and joana’s introduction just taught her about herself - not just about her sexuality, but that she’s capable of handling heavy and confusing situations, that she’s not just the silly, party girl friend…. instead of becoming less isolated, love helped cris became more herself and it makes me lose my mind when I think about it

summary: It’s the Easter holidays, and Joana is sitting on Cris’ bed, yet again, saying that their work is good, giving Cris that look she always does, leaning in to kiss her. She doesn’t do it then, but later that night, after flirting over drinks and running through the city, they’re kissing in some pool and Cris is thinking please don’t be my soulmate, please don’t be my soulmate, but even louder than that is the please keep kissing me that she feels deep in her bones. Eventually both sounds quiet and everything else fades away, the feeling of Joana’s lips on hers numbing the fear for a little while.
Honestly the most aesthetic first kiss of all time??? They look like they’re in space,, the lighting, the bubbles looking like stars, their blonde and purple hair floating??? Cinematic poetry
