“Y/N, I’m a bit busy, could you take the next patient coming in?” My coworker asked me with an apologetic look on her face. Nodding, I answered her. “Yeah, sure! I’m free anyway.” “Great, he’s waiting outside. Just a quick warning, he’s kind of famous, so please be calm and don’t embarrass me.”
“Idiot, I can’t embarrass anyone, I’m awesome.” She left and I could hear her telling someone to go in.

“Hey,” a deep voice said causing me to look up from my papers. My eyes grew wide as I realised that the man in front of me was no other than Cristiano Ronaldo, my all time idol. Knowing that my coworker did it on purpose, aware of me idolising him, I made a mental note to thank her later.
“Hey, my name is y/n, nice to meet you.”
“I’m Cristiano.” I gave him a smile, and motioned for him to sit down on a chair, trying my best to stay calm and professional. “So, what’s the matter with you today?” He opened his mouth and started to explain, and no matter how unprofessional it was, I couldn’t help staring at his lips moving.

“So yeah, if you remember taking the medication two times a day, you’ll be fine.”
He nodded at my words and stood up, “Great, thank you.” After that he walked over to the door and was almost out of my sight when he turned around. “Hey, before I go, could I maybe get your number?”
A blush immediately covered my cheeks as I nodded shyly, “Yeah, sure.” I scribbled it down on a paper note and gave it to him, and then he left. The moment he was out my coworker ran in excitedly, “Now?”
“He wanted my number,” I grinned, not believing that my idol wanted my number. The rest of the day I couldn’t help but to steal short glances at my phone, waiting for him to call or text.

But he didn’t call or text that day, or the next. It wasn’t until two weeks later that he called.
“Hello?”
“Y/N?” His voice said through the line, and I scoffed. “Oh so now you call? I’m not interested Cristiano.”
I almost hung up when his voice spoke up again, “No please!” And he sounded so panicked that I couldn’t help but to worry. “What?” “It’s my son, he was playing in a tree outside and he fell down and now he’s sleepy and I don’t know what to do,” at the end his voice cracked and I felt the pity grow in my chest as well as the worry for the cute little sunshine also known as Cristiano Jr. “I can come and take a look at him if you want?” The relief in his voice was huge when I heard him answer, “Yeah, that would be great! Thank you so much!”

“Hey,” I smiled as he opened the door and let me in. “Hey, he’s in here,” he said, clearly not interested in small talk which was of course understandable. I followed him in to what seemed like the living room and saw Junior sit on the couch with a small but insanely adorable pout on his face.
“Hey buddy,” I said and sat down on the couch next to him, “My name is y/n, and I just want to take a small look at your head, okay?” He nodded and looked over to his father with a toothy grin, “You were right, she’s really pretty.” His statement made both me and his father blush, and I smiled a bit to myself. “Thank you very much,” I smiled as I started to examinate him.

“All finished!” I smiled at Junior before turning to his father, “He’s fine, no signs of concussion or any other injury.”
He let out a relieved sigh and chuckled, “Thank God! Sorry for making you come out here for nothing, I’ll pay you just name the prize.” Shaking my head, I hurriedly let him know that was not necessary.
“Well, bye then.” But he stopped me, “Hey, I’m - I’m sorry for not calling. I know it was a douche move, but I would be really happy if you would accompany me for dinner Saturday.” He looked at me nervously until I nodded, “Yeah, sure. I would like that very much!”
