#crown prince

Prince Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, the first crown prince of Saudi Arabia, the 5th in my Saudi royalty series. He was painted from really tough black/white and blurry reference, so this was a lot of invention. This will be turned into an 18 x 24 oil painting for a contemporary prince and major political figure, who’s great grandfather is this man. Deputy crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman. Just finished my second Saudi Arabian royalty portrait, which is part of a 12 piece series or so, commissioned to hang in government offices. Since I have 10-11 more to do, I suspect this is pretty much all I will do for the next 11 weeks, cranking them out at a rate of one per week. This will get boring, but bear with me, I gotta do what I gotta do. I will try to do some other work whenever possible to spice it up.

Logan was supposed to be just a single character exercise (he isn’t even supposed to be the main character) but ideas came and now there are a few other characters in my head related to him… so here is Logan so far, before what is probably going to be a new direction.
