Fun Fact: Victoria’s dress from the photocall today is described by the designer (By Malina) as a “cupcake” dress which feels so perfect for the cupcake that is Victoria on Victoriadagen.

Victoria wore what turned out to be this & Other Stories dress on Monday. There were a couple complicating factors. Low quality pics and the fact that the dress was previous season and no longer sold.
I quickly figured out that it was either a completely new brand to me/Victoria or it was a previous season after searching a ton of different brands and outlets. From there, it was Google image searching a million different combinations. The winning one ended up being “Scandinavian puff sleeve dress blue” which shows just how far down the rabbit hole I got. Just thought I’d give you a little insight into how I try to find pieces.

16th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria attended the Swedish Climate Symposium 2022 in Norrköping. The conference was attended by researchers to discuss current climate research and the conclusions from the IPCC’s evaluation report and its consequences for Sweden.
16th May 2022 // The King and Crown Princess attended a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Royal Palace. The Foreign Affairs Committee is a consultative body between the Riksdag and the government, of which the King is chairman. The committee consists of the Speaker and nine other members from the Riksdag as well as nine deputies.
13th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria inaugurated the new Ångström Laboratory in Uppsala. The Ångström laboratory was built in 1997 to bring together activities in physics, chemistry and technology in one house. Since then, the laboratory has developed into a strong research and educational hub.
12th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the 35th anniversary celebration for YPO, a global leadership community for chief executives. They were welcomed by Tord Magnuson, founder of the YPO Swedish Chapter and husband of Victoria’s aunt Princess Christina
12th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria participated in SeaBOS ‘working meeting from 10th to 12th May. SeaBOS brings together representatives from the world’s ten largest seafood companies, as well as experts and researchers in the industry, to promote sustainable fishing.
11th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria delivers a speech during a reception at the Royal Palace for all of the Ambassadors who represent Sweden overseas.

10th May 2022 // The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel completed a number of engagements in Norrbotten. First they visited Polarbröd’s new factory which has been reconstructed after a fire in 2020.They then visited Hybrits’ plant which aims to create a fossil-free supply chain and manufacturing process across the steel industry, and finished their day at the port of Luleå to learn more about their plans for developing the area into a business hub
April 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria with a member of staff at the Grand Hotel in Lund. Victoria stayed in the hotel when she was in the area to present the Crafoord Prize.
