Drip, drip, drip. The drops of whiskey fell like golden pearls onto the precious carpet in the sitting room of a cottage in the South Downs. Crowley wasn’t very sure exactly what time it was, he only knew he starting drinking right after having lunch with Aziraphale. Or right after they had tried to have lunch, anyway.
