Wren is the son of Xero, the Raparatic Demon of Lies. He grew up entirely shunned from his community in the West Kald, and made his way on his own, holding tightly to his grudge against his mother for bringing him into this world. He joins a band of thieves led by a dwarf named Noir, and spends his days just trying to get by.
Until he meets Puck, a powerful illusionist warlock, and the newest champion of his mother. Then quite suddenly he has to learn how to care.
