This is the first time I’ve inked traditionally forever but it feels good!! Here we have Sullivan relaxing in his favorite spot at Brooks’ place. I’m gonna try to focus on my Dead Reckoning characters this month to kinda solidify their designs and such! Good luck to everyone taking part!!

i work at a golf course during summers and was talking with my coworkers about sunburns/farmers tans/etc. and i couldn’t stop thinking about what a funny tan sul would have because he insists on wearing a fucking turtleneck all the time and basically lives on his ship. brooks is a botanist but works in his greenhouse and in a lot of dense forest areas with shade, and doesn’t wear you know, one kind of shirt,
anyway i really wanted to draw it so here’s a quick draw of my boys

drawing your characters as kids is like “bigger heads, bigger eyes, bigger and messier hair” which is fun, so here’s brooks, dawn and sullivan (respectively) 14 years younger
brooks and dawn are tiny terrors, they are rascal vigilantes and get into fights constantly. sullivan tries to keep up, but dawn’s a jackass older sibling through and through and never wants him to tag along. brooks reminds her that sully’s quick thinking has saved them from getting their asses kicked plenty of times. and so young trouble maker hijinks ensue!

more for the flower series! i’m having a lot of fun choosing flowers for my characters… dawn gets the birds of paradise flower. she’s got a bad case of wanderlust. you can’t keep her in one place for long and she has an insatiable desire for exploration!

I’m pretty sure I’ve failed inktober at this point, but I’ve been drawing more, which is the important thing! Here’s another, number unknown because I kind of stopped keeping track. Official™ boyfriends, Brooks and Sullivan! Although I don’t think they’re dating at the beginning of my story so I guess that’s a spoiler??
