I visited Maui for a week and I was inspired by how beautiful the beaches, the clouds, and the sunsets are. It reminded me of Destiny Islands, so I made Kingdom Hearts cut out art and took photos <3 I made these by drawing in my sketchbook, cutting them out, and waiting for the wind to be friendly enough for me to take a proper photo with my phone. I got hella sunburnt, but it was worth to get these shots <3

Just once I’d like to see Sora wear the Destiny Island school uniform in-game

I was given Answm the Wise/DiZ for the card and I immediately thought of the moment between his digital ghost in Sora’s heart with Riku at the end of Dream Drop Distance. He just felt so at peace, with both the good and bad of his choices, nothing else I came up with compared (though my hands certainly resented me by the end of it with all the small details)

After school

This took me days to finish, in large part due to distractions, sleeping, and researching swimwear, which is my fault so don’t worry, also sorry for not uploading this during the day yesterday, it’s because of the first 2 things I’ve just mentioned.

Anyways on to the drawing:

Nemu’s suit was originally gonna just be a standard one piece suit that you see children wear, but during my research on Brigitte’s swimwear, I came across the term “modest swimsuits” and found not only suits that aren’t skimpy as all heck*, but a one-piece suit that looks similar to the standard one-piece except with shorts-esque pant-legs, and I just have to give it to Nemu because it’s perfect for her.

Speaking of Brigitte, I had a bit of a trying time on what suit to give her because she’s the more mature and fashionable of my OCs. But then I looked back on “Avatar the Last Airbender”’s Beach Episode, did a quick google search on what Romani women wore as well as the aforementioned modest swimsuits from before, and came up with something that’s respectful to both her character and background. That and she’s an beautiful woman sure, but she can be beautiful without being too revealing, right?

Neashi’s suit is basically the same as before, except I did some changes because I wasn’t too happy with the old swimsuit anymore. I removed the black bikini that was underneath upon realizing why I wasn’t happy with it: she had two suits that over powered it instead of one, and made it just a two-piece teal green swimsuit so now it doesn’t look outta wack, that and I shortened her shorts’ pant-legs. I also changed the colors to be more darker and greener since the old one was a bit too blueish.

Now onto the men: I unfortunately didn’t do anything special for Dimitri and Kaze other than giving them shirts, and no I’m not a misandrist and never want to be, it’s because I have a trying time with guys clothes because they’re more or less the same every time IRL compared to women’s clothes which are a lot more diverse……basically I have a fun time with women’s clothing than I do men’s. Be it as it may, if you feel offended and/or disappointed, I do apologize in advance.

*Nothing against sexy swimsuits of course, I just think it’s refreshing to see something that isn’t super revealing but still perfect for summer for once. Seems a bit fitting considering that KH is a Disney game, right?

I wanted to draw something involving the ocean and my KH OC Neashi for quiet awhile, but I didn’t want to be copying my fanmade loading screen I did sometime ago unless I wanted to remake it but I do. 

At the same time I wanted to do a drawing that involves floating weightlessly underwater upon hearing “Dire Dire Docks” from “Super Mario 64” and this is the result of it(seriously guys, go listen to it, it’s fantastic). This is also where my headcanon of Demyx being able to breath underwater for a long time originated from.

The story here took place during the 2nd Arc of my KH universe(where Neashi is in [Project: Pere Noel] but is close to graduating). There she and Demyx, while they did have a rough start and the former is annoyed with him on multiple occasions as well as being a Tsundere, they slowly start to get to know each other and go on some hijinks together, one of those hijinks is diving into the ocean of the Destiny Islands to stroll and be amongst his element.

And of course he had to take Neashi along for the ride because he wants her to experience his own feelings of joy he hardly ever feels, that and he knew that she’s from the Islands(in large part due to natural green hair being native there, also my personal headcanon). 

During this time, it’s where Neashi learns he is one of the few Nobodies who can actually breath underwater for a long time considering that water is his element.

Unfortunately, as magical(and somewhat nostalgic) as the underwater stroll was, she almost drowned because of it and Demyx had to cut his stroll short to save her, thankfully she wasn’t traumatized but she had to deal with salt water covered clothes now.

My apologies for being a little late, I was doing some last minute touch ups, distractions, and coming up with a description. This drawing was kind of an excuse to draw Nemu in a summer dress that she can travel in, although I kinda made the dress a little longer than I want it, but it’s still a cute dress.

Anyways, the story here takes place during my story’s Dream Arc(Dream Drop Distance from Neashi’s POV), and Nemu sets off to find the former members of Organization XIII and [Project: Pere Noel] upon realizing that something is very wrong, especially since she was told that she was supposed to disappear completely when she’s slain.

During her travels, she was able to track down Kaze with her cellphone and was able to meet up with him and some of the former members in Radiant Garden, she then later met up with Brigitte and Dimitri and Traverse Town.

Then finally she was able to track Neashi down in the Destiny Islands who at that point just wanted to live a normal life and forget what she had experienced. She actually arrived to the Islands during the night, but hid the Gummi ship in the mountains so the natives wouldn’t suspect anything, but it did stir rumors about aliens. She spent the whole night traveling into the mainland’s town until the sunrises.

Sorry for being late, I was trying to draw the pose and failed a couple of times, that and the usual internet distractions and drama. But it’s done now. Also I redesigned her school bag and bento pouch since the original were mostly made for her original uniform which I found out was mostly for middle schoolers.

Y'know that old anime trope of running late to school with a piece of toast in your mouth? Well I wanted to do a drawing on that again, this time make it better since the first one was drawn lazily. 

Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s a very old cliche that’s been overdone to death, but there’s just something so fascinating about it that I can’t explain, plus you can play around with it like in “Daily Lives of High School Boys” so it isn’t always repetitive.

Anyways, this takes place somewhere around the beginning of my KH universe’s Dream Arc(aka DDD from girl’s POV), Neashi was trying to find some normality after coming back from the dead and finally escaping the (first)Organization, and what better way to do it than to re-enter high school as a 2nd year student.

…I know it’s ironic because almost everyone hates school for admittedly understandable reasons, but hey, at least it’s better than being in a group that has a very toxic work environment similar to a death cult.

This drawing above shows her in a typical anime fashion similar to 90’s Sailor Moon, by being late for school because she overslept, and yes Kairi and her adoptive-mother did try to wake her up but was told to go away each time until much later.

Thankfully however Neashi was able to barely make it on time thanks to all the Parkour skills she learned from the Organization’s Santa Clause Project, which also earned her some respect from the other students.

I finally found my little sister’s old laptop with the MS_Paint on it, it’s been stuck in our closet full of blankets, board games, and toiletries this whole time. With it, I was able to edit my KH OC’s school uniform and swimsuit finally, I can rest easy now.

That being said, I got rid of the old version of the chart and replaced it with 5 different rows for better quality images. This is OFFICIALLY my final update on Neashi’s outfit chart.
