Veterans Day(originally known as Armistice Day) is a federal holiday in the United States….observed annually on November 11….honoring military veterans – all persons who have served in the United States Armed Forces(and were discharged under honorable conditions).
>>Note – A large number of local jurisdictions and school districts across America no longer honor veterans on this day. They prefer to save the “day off” for a shopping day the Friday after Thanksgiving. At least we veterans know we served to preserve the right to shop.

Men also live longer healthier lives if they’re married while the opposite happens for women. It’s actually better for women to keep away from you. (Clearly this is about straight men.)

The Texas abortion law diminishes RBG’s legacy. Stephen Breyer should take note.
One hates to say it, but Wednesday’s Supreme Court decision to let a Texas antiabortion law stand — for now — must be seen as part of former Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy, a glaring lapse that must be considered alongside all her genuine accomplishments in fighting for women’s rights.
