#dorothy dandridge
My drama teacher gave everyone in the class a card which had pictures of the class (12 of us) and a personalised messaged for the last class we have together. The card also had a personalised quote, I had;
“There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise” by the beautiful Dorothy Dandridge
This spoke to me. This tumultuous year full of obstacles had made me a woman, mentally and emotionally. Even when you think your efforts go unseen people are watching, and people are proud! I was not a girl, but a woman. And she saw that in me. I am now a woman who is powerful, strong and resourceful. This is what women are, this is what makes a woman.
This quote I now pass on to you my followers. Be determined and rise!
I am watching, and I am proud.
